There is no single treatment for all cases of trigeminal aeuralgia. Some patients will not tolerate injection and others &re afraid of operation. There are individual considerations in every case, and the best treatment may be operation, or Gasserian injection, or peripheral-nerve injection, or tablets; ill have a place in proper management and all should be considered by the surgeon who has experience of all methods and is familiar with the Gasserian region.
